Shoulders · At the wall
Wall walks
How you get into the chest-to-wall position without kicking up. Your feet climb the wall while your hands walk toward it, then you come back down the same way.
It's a shoulder drill as much as a way up: with every step, a little more of your weight moves onto your arms.

How to do it
- Start in a plank, heels against the bottom of the wall.
- Put one foot on the wall, then the other, at hip height.
- Take small steps with your hands toward the wall as your feet climb.
- Stop at your limit. Halfway is enough the first few times.
- Come down in control by reversing the movement: hands walk out, feet walk down.
The mistake that keeps coming back
Arching your back on the way up. As your shoulders tire, your belly relaxes and your lower back sags, mostly in the second half of the climb. Think hollow body: ribs tucked, glutes squeezed. If your back gives, stop there, that's your height for the day.
A coach in your ear
Upside down, you can't read a screen. In the app, a voice guides you through the exercise and tells you what to fix right when you need it. For example, as your feet pass above your hips:
“Don't arch your back”
