Wrist circles
The first drill of every session, including the shortest ones. Your wrists carry your whole weight in full extension, and that's where beginners get sore. A few slow circles won't fix everything, but loading cold wrists is the surest way to end up taking time off.

How to do it
- Make slow circles with your wrists, one way and then the other.
- Interlace your fingers in front of you and roll your wrists in waves, one way and then the other.
- Go for the full range, without forcing the end of it.
The mistake everyone makes
Going too fast. Fast circles turn your hands, not your wrists. The point is to reach the end of the range, and that only happens slowly.
A coach in your ear
Upside down, you can't read a screen. In the app, a voice guides you through the exercise and tells you what to fix right when you need it. For example, as soon as your circles speed up:
“Move slowly through full range”
